    Some fatigue from the previous day followed me into this upper-body session, but nothing hurt and the work moved well. Incline presses, cable rows, rear delt work, and Pallof presses made for a tiring but solid morning.

  • July 5, 2026: Recovery Work Without a Setback

    A short recovery session at the UIUC ARC included treadmill walking, mobility work, and 25 minutes in a gravity chair with compression boots. My hip and lower-back area felt better than it had during the previous few days.

    I was not feeling entirely like myself the day after my birthday, but the training remained straightforward. I completed the planned clean and push presses, dumbbell work, carries, backward walks, and conditioning with only minor variations.
