A Short Recovery Session
I completed the day as prescribed, beginning with 20 minutes on the treadmill before moving through a short sequence of breathing, mobility, and floor exercises.
The session finished in the UIUC ARC Recovery Room. I spent 25 minutes of actual chair time in the gravity chair with the compression boots. My hip and lower-back area felt better than it had during the previous few days, and nothing during the session caused a noticeable increase in discomfort.
This was not a complicated day, but it did what it needed to do. I completed the work, used the recovery time available to me, and left feeling better than when I arrived.
