The Iron Rests. The Work Remains.
The larger work is not built only through heavy lifts, loaded carries, and the moments that look impressive on camera. It is also built through the quieter sessions that keep everything moving in the right direction.
Today was one of those days.
I began the session at 11:01 AM with 20 minutes on the treadmill at Resistance 2 and Incline 2. It was straightforward conditioning with a clear purpose: move, recover, and keep building the base beneath the strength work.
From there, I moved into Supine 90/90 Breathing before giving both areas of my calves direct attention with the Wall Calf Stretch and Bent-Knee Wall Calf Stretch. Nothing needed to be complicated. Every movement had its place, and every part of the session supported the work still ahead.
The training portion ended at 11:28 AM. At 11:30 AM, I moved into the recovery room for a 30-minute compression-boot reservation, including 25 minutes of actual time in the boots.
This was not a day away from the mission. This was part of it.
Discipline means doing the work the day requires. Power is built through more than the heaviest moments. The rise continues through every deliberate step, including the quiet ones.
